It is all so simple

As I write this, the world is slowly awakening, people are having breakfast and making a dash for the door, running to the car and try to beat the daily traffic jams. I'm doing none of that: I just got home from work - way before the madness strikes on the roads.

I should (or could) be heading off to bed, but I'll postpone that till nine or so, in order to be able to make a couple of phone calls and set up some appointments. Then I'll head off to bed and this afternoon I'll be less of a zombie and hopefully working some extra gigs.

I probably sound naive and old fashioned, but the fastest road to money is working for it :)

I don't believe in the "All work and no play makes ServMe a dull boy" statement. And the reason(s) I don't believe in it are quite simple :

- I like my work, thus don't consider it "work"
- The income I get from work pays for my play time.

Fastest road to money? Marrying a rich (and old) man... Having a rich father... Working for it? I am afraid my salary is just enough to pay my bills. :(

I'm not so keen on marrying an old man and hoping he'll die and leave me a big heritage.

First of all, I think marriage is over rated, I prefer women over men when it comes to relationships, and I don't like people that I like/love dying on me.

So I suppose working for it is the best option - my salary covers my bills but leaves some room to do what I like. Not everything and every time, but with a careful selection of your options, one can go a long way.

Ah ServMeBean... yet again you dash my hopes for a Belgian Green Card! Haha! Green Card? Is that just an American thing? I wonder if my nursing license will be good in Belgium?
